The two merchants Leo Roos and Isidor Kahn found the men's garment factory Roos & Kahn in Bielefeld, laying the foundations for windsor's brand development.

The managing partner Günter Klasing, who had a preference for expensive fabrics from England, takes over the company and gives it a new name: Windsor Kleiderwerk G. Klasing KG.

The first windsor. women's collection is launched. Over the years, windsor. develops into a successful premium fashion brand with the highest standards of style and quality.

The artist, illustrator and designer Wolfgang Joop presents his first collection in New York.

Former Hugo Boss owners Jochen and Uwe Holy found Strellson and thus lay the foundation for a success story. The company emerges from the former coat factory Friedrich Straehl & Co. in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland, and grows into one of the leading suppliers of urban men's fashion.

Wolfgang Joop leaves the company of the same name. Initially, the JOOP! brand is divided equally between the Holy family (Strellson AG, Windsor GmbH), Egana Goldpfeil and the cosmetics group Coty Lancaster. Since the 90s, JOOP! has developed into a successful lifestyle brand that offers products for every aspect of life, from eyewear to watches and fashion to furniture, as well as various household goods.

The Strellson "Swiss Cross Jacket" made from old Swiss military blankets comes on the market in a limited and numbered edition. 3,000 parkas are sold in no time – a marketing success of a special kind and at the same time the birth of the Strellson Sportswear line.

The three strong brands Strellson, windsor. and JOOP! are managed under the umbrella of the HOLY FASHION GROUP and by a single management. The Kreuzlingen location becomes the headquarters and menswear competence location, while womenswear is developed in Bielefeld.

The HOLY FASHION GROUP becomes the sole owner of JOOP! GmbH.

The company strongly focuses on the areas of expansion and e-business. Within a year, the new branded online shops of Strellson, Windsor. and JOOP! are launched.

The HOLY FASHION GROUP strengthens the individual brands through differentiated positioning and organizational focus. In this context, windsor. womenswear and JOOP! womenswear are established at the headquarters in Kreuzlingen.

Back to the roots: JOOP! moves into the spectacular JOOP! Villa in Hamburg, where the brand’s history began.
